Hospitality I.T. were delighted to be the chosen supplier for the EPoS system in Belfast’s newest boutique bar and restaurant venue 21 Social & Cigarette Girl.
Situated at the Potthouse building on the corner of Cathedral Quarter’s Hill & Waring Streets, 21 Social offers three floors of ‘exquisite libations, delectable eats and carefully curated sounds’.
With a restaurant and bar on the ground floor, bar/club on the first floor and luxurious private member’s club ‘Cigarette Girl’ on the top floor, 21 Social has made quite an impact on the already lively Cathedral Quarter.
Hospitality I.T. have installed a total of 8 touchscreen tills with the Maitre’D point of sale across the three floors, with Maitre’D Inventory module for stock control.
Owner/manager Stephen Brown was needing a system that was very user-friendly, could effectively manage all their stock control requirements, was able to withstand the demands of a busy nightclub, whilst being able to provide accurate sales data and reporting to keep on top of the business.
"It has far exceeded my expectations", explains Stephen. "I find it extremely easy to use, both at the till and in the back office. It produces reports that are extremely detailed and a very effective tool in our stock control. With the hardware itself, we have had very few issues except a printer problem caused by spills which was replaced within a few hours on a busy weekend. The installation was painless, the guys liaised with the M&E consultants during the refit, we told them where the tills were to be placed and that was that."
